Flags of Valor

Volunteers from local organizations place hundreds of flags along the Riverwalk trail for the Flags of Valor display that raises money for the Lake City American Legion and Auxiliary Post No. 110. The flags will be up during Water Ski Days and removed Monday.

Secrets of Glensheen

Collections Manager, Milissa Brooks-Ojibway, will showcase various objects from the Glensheen collection that have been hidden out-of-sight to visitors.

Milissa is responsible for the proper care and preservation of the objects in the mansion. Therefore, she sees all of the cool and interesting objects in Glensheen’s collection every day. More often than not, these are objects the public rarely has the opportunity to see.  Milissa will give an in-depth history of each object and perhaps even why the Congdon family acquired the item.  Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions and get up close to these rarely-seen objects.  Guests will enter at the front door of the mansion. The event will take place in the Amusement Room.  Come enjoy this wonderful free event on November 28th from 7:00-8:00 PM!

Artist's Holiday Sale and Festivities

The Winona Arts Center announces its 25th annual Holiday Sale and festivities on Saturday, December 1st from 9am-4pm at 228 East 5th Street in Winona. The gallery upstairs will include fine arts and crafts for sale by eight area artists. Activities downstairs include Christmas themed readings and holiday music, and offerings by Renaissance Breads & Pastries Coffeehouse. The entertainment is free and open to the public.

Scream Town

Scream Town is a haunted attraction located in Chaska. Secluded outside the lights of the city in a remote corn field surrounded by huge 200 year old FOREST.
